Inquiry
Nimonic 90 (GH90) is a high-temperature nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy, composed of nickel, chromium, cobalt, and trace amounts of carbon, silicon, and other elements. It exhibits exceptional high-temperature performance and oxidation resistance, capable of continuous operation in environments up to 850°C. Its high-temperature strength and creep resistance make it an indispensable material in the aerospace, energy, and chemical industries.
Features
- High temperature resistance: Retains excellent mechanical properties even in high-temperature environments, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
- Excellent oxidation resistance: Protects against oxidation at elevated temperatures, significantly extending the lifespan of equipment and components.
- Good thermal stability: Maintains structural integrity even when exposed to large temperature fluctuations, ensuring long-term performance in extreme environments.
Application
- Aerospace: Used in the manufacturing of high-temperature engine components, including combustion chambers and turbine blades, ensuring efficient and durable aircraft performance.
- Energy industry: Applied in power plants, as well as oil and gas extraction, for critical high-temperature parts that need to withstand harsh environments.
- Chemical industry: Ideal for use in high-temperature, high-pressure reactors where it resists both corrosion and thermal degradation.
- Nuclear energy: Essential in the construction of nuclear reactor components, where safety, durability, and high performance are paramount.
- Automotive industry: Used in high-performance vehicles, such as in the turbochargers and other critical engine components.
