- 1J79 Soft Magnetic Alloy
The 1J79 alloy is a soft magnetic alloy known for its excellent magnetic conductivity and low coercivity. It combines high magnetic permeability, electrical resistance, low coercivity, and minimal eddy current losses. It is composed primarily of nickel, iron, and small amounts of silicon, aluminum, and magnesium; it offers outstanding magnetic and mechanical properties.
This alloy stands out for its high electrical resistivity, typically around 10-7 Ω·m, ensuring low eddy current losses below 300KHz. It also boasts high magnetic and low coercivity, with maximum permeability exceeding 10,000. In terms of mechanical strength, the 1J79 alloy has a tensile strength of approximately 410MPa, a yield strength of about 240MPa, and an elongation rate of around 30%. These features are complemented by its excellent machinability and weldability.
Applications The versatility of the 1J79 alloy extends into multiple sectors, making it a key component in enhancing the efficiency and compactness of devices across electronics, power generation, and telecommunications. Its application significantly improves the performance of devices such as transformers, mutual inductors, and inductors. Beyond these, the alloy plays an important role in producing high-quality audio and video heads and sensors, directly impacting equipment's reliability and signal fidelity. The alloy is also valuable in producing magnetic shielding materials and medical devices, further showcasing its versatility and importance in modern technology.
